“Being a young tattoo artist, I learn every single day. Being surrounded by such amazing artists in the centre of the artistic world lets me experience and practice in a very intense and fast way.”
What does your creative process look like?
I tend to get my inspiration mostly from nature, being outdoors and away from hectic everyday life; I mostly try not to limit myself with references found online - that’s why my notebooks and iPad are filled with rough sketches done throughout the day; all these scribbles and rough ideas eventually, through trial and error, end up creating a unique design.
What does tattooing mean to you?
Tattooing is my happy place; I’m a very anxious person and I find the process of tattooing very relaxing and satisfying. I always strive for perfection and watching tattoos come to life stroke by stroke, makes my uneasy mind, calm and at peace.
The part I love the most is being able to spend time with so many interesting people from around the world, and of course seeing my clients’ smile at the end of the session, making it worth every second.
What influences you?
I follow many creative minds, who have, so far, greatly shaped my work ethic and my profession. I love surrounding myself with art and trying to find artistic nature in every aspect of life - from canvases on the wall, visiting galleries and museums to decorating my living room and picking out accessories for my outfit. I also love reminding myself of how much hidden beauty there is to find in the places we least expect it.
Have you noticed an evolution in tattoo trends?
As someone who has been observing the industry for years and now working within tattooing, I have noticed a huge change in popularity of different styles within these years. Fine line tattooing has become extremely popular and is still expanding very quickly. In my opinion, tattoo trends may keep changing and become more or less popular, but regardless of what is currently on trend, everyone has a unique taste and preference.

How did get into tattooing?
I loved getting tattooed since a young age; I got my first tattoo at 18 but it never crossed my mind to be on other side of this process. My first job related to this industry was as a studio manager. I was in charge of the admin side of it. From the very beginning, I loved being at the studio, interacting with artists and being able to see their creative process every day
Unfortunately due to not being treated well, I decided to leave soon after. Having loved the tattoo industry so much, I wanted to challenge myself and I changed my life drastically in hope of being able to feel happy again. I picked up a tattoo machine and devoted the next few months to soaking up all the information I came across from books, online sources and artists I met along the way. I felt the love for tattooing with the first line and I can’t wait for many more years of this journey to come.
What’s your favourite tattoo that you have?
I love all my pieces for different reasons, meanings, memories and artworks - if I had to choose, I would say, the newest addition of a John Lennon portrait by my insanely talented colleague, Lucy Barker (@lucyorbarker).
Have you had any tattoos removed?
I used to have one I got done very spontaneously and unfortunately I was never fully happy with it; I went the route of tattoo laser removal and eventually I got it covered up with the design I absolutely love.
Have you evolved as a tattoo artist?
Being a young tattoo artist, I learn every single day. Being surrounded by such amazing artists in the centre of the artistic world lets me experience and practice in a very intense and fast way. I pour my entire heart into tattooing and I hope to evolve every day of my career.
